Learn to fly a Gyrocopter (Gyroplane). MT-03 training to PPL(G) with GS Aviation, Marlborough, WiltshireGyrocopter (Gyroplane) MT-03 flying lessons to PPL(G)Training available 7 days a week. By the hour or intensive courses, plus trial lessons/gift voucher experiences. If you have ever fancied flying a rotary wing aircraft then consider the gyrocopter rather than a helicopter. They are great fun and will put a big smile on your face whilst using considerably less fuel, flying more quietly and being much much cheaper to fly.Or if you are a flex wingpilot and love the feeling of wind on your face but get fed up with not being able to fly because of the wind is too strong then the gyro with 40kts wind tolerance is for you. You can learn to fly in a gyrocopter (gyroplane) with GS Aviation, a Wiltshire flying school offering gyrotraining to PPL(G) using MT-03 aircraft. Ground school, trial lessons and gift vouchers are also available.
The MT-03 is one of the new generation of aircraft in the UK, BCAR Section-T compliant, factory built in Germany and final assembly in the UK at Rotorsport UK Ltd's CAA approved workshops. Gyrocopters have come a long way since Little Nellie in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice and are now practical, safe and serious fun to fly machines. The gyroplane complements our other flying activities. In many ways the aircraft is very similar to our present microlights. Same Rotax engine, same maximum take off weight, similar range and performance with the only major difference that it can land in a much smaller space. The licence required is the PPL(G) which requires more hours than the microlight but then the aircrafts abilities are much broader.
